Experience — ♦

A few things I have actually done.

These are the jobs and projects where an idea had to make sense to someone besides me—which is usually where the real learning starts.

Work & leadership

Summer 2026

Engineering Intern

Bert R. Huncilman and Son · New Albany, Indiana

I designed custom manufacturing and workplace-safety equipment, made Inventor models and fabrication-ready drawings, and worked directly with the engineers and people in the shop. This was probably the first time my CAD work had to survive contact with an actual welder, which taught me quite a bit.

2024 — 2025

Founder

Seniors4Seniors · Bedford, Massachusetts

I started a student-run nonprofit that connected volunteers with local senior centers. In one year, more than 30 students completed over 300 hours of community service. It began as a fairly simple idea and became something much more real than I expected.

2018 — 2025

Technology Volunteer

Bedford senior center · Bedford, Massachusetts

I helped seniors with smartphones and everyday electronics, then made lessons that explained the same things without assuming everyone already understood the technology. Plain and simple, this is where I learned that useful design has to make sense to someone besides the person who made it.
